Times Square for New Year's Eve? Not Keith or C-Mac's scene

If you were out in Times Square on New Year's Eve, chances are you got more than a little wet…but for some people, the juice is worth the squeeze just for the experience of something.

Chris McMonigle & Keith McPherson, now old married dudes with kids, are not those juicers.

"I have buddies who do the Thanksgiving Day parade, and I can't imagine taking kids to the Thanksgiving Day parade, being in the cold all day long – would you ever even consider going down to Times Square?" Chris asked Keith. "I don't understand that, and like, I don't discourage you from doing it because it's become a tradition and I enjoy watching it on TB to some level, but can you imagine actually taking the night and saying, oh, I'm gonna wear my diapers and the silly yellow hat, and sip Bud Light out of a funnel? Who wants to do that?"

"No, it's a mess. You're literally trapped. It's a tourist thing," Keith replied. "I just saw a video of them letting people in, and there were thousands of people waiting. I try to avoid Times Square on the regular – like, just any reason to not go or dodge it, I try to do that."

Keith has been close to both the parade and the ball drop thanks to previous jobs, and yeah, neither is his scene.

"With the Thanksgiving parade, I worked at FuboTV and we had an office where we could watch out of the window, and I'll watch out of the window but not trying to be down there on the ground with the people," Keith said. "And the closest I've ever been to Times Square, I worked at MTV, which is 1515 Broadway between 53rd and 54th, and I didn't go that night, but I went to work the next day; I was project-based, so you had to go to work, and it was a mess, with confetti and garbage everywhere. I can't be with that many random people; it's not safe, and it's not fun, and even when it's done, you can't get out."

Keith has in fact sworn off New Year's Eve as a thing after a bad experience two years back, and, well, you'll have to listen above to hear both Keith and Chris' worst NYE experiences!
