With all five New York winter sports teams getting ready to start their playoff runs, the Tiki and Tierney crew raised the question: which of the five is going to go the farthest?
Tiki is hopeful for the Knicks, but he doesn't thing they'll go further than one of the local hockey teams.
"I like the Knicks," Tiki said. "I don't think they're a championship team this year."
BT likes the Knicks as well, but their fellow MSG squad gets his pick.
"I think it's the Rangers," BT said. "I think the Rangers have the best chance to go the furthest, and then the Knicks."
Tiki countered with the rival Devils, who will face the Blueshirts in the first round, but BT says New Jersey isn't there just yet.
"They give up too many goals," BT said. "They can score, but playoff hockey is a little different…the Devils, their trajectory is encouraging., and they can clip the Rangers, I'm not saying it's a foregone thing, but their goaltending is not up to par with they offense.
"I think it's Rangers, Knicks, Devils, Nets, Islanders."
On the other side of the glass, Hoff sided with BT, and says the Rangers will make it to the Stanley Cup and beat both local rivals along the way.
