Aaron Judge is officially back, with the Yankees announcing that the captain has been activated from the IL before a crucial series against the first-place Orioles in Baltimore.

The Yanks welcomed Judge back with a hype video shortly after announcing the news.

Judge has been out for nearly two months, having tore a ligament in his right big toe back on June 3 when he made a running catch into the wall at Dodger Stadium. The Yankee offense has devolved into one of the worst in baseball without Judge, but was 30-19 with Judge in the lineup this season.

The reigning MVP was thriving before his injury, batting .291 with 19 home runs and a 1.078 OPS in 175 at-bats.

In a corresponding move, Oswald Peraza was sent back down to Triple-A Scranton.
