Major League Baseball has released its hats that will be worn at the 2022 All-Star Game, and each hat has a small star stitched next to the team logo on the front.
Only the small star looks like an asterisk, and that resulted in MLB Twitter having a field day with the Astros.

The cap looks like it has an asterisk next to the Houston logo, which unsurprisingly led to plenty of baseball fans pointing out the fitting look for a team that many rebranded as the “Houston Asterisks” after their trash-banging, sign-stealing scandal was revealed after the 2019 season.
It may not have been a result that the league considered, but it came almost immediately after images of the caps were released.
