Boomer & Gio: How many games will Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and Giancarlo Stanton play together?

The Yankees’ success in 2024 will be largely reliant on the health of their star bats in the lineup, leading Boomer and Gio to wonder how many games we will see where Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and Giancarlo Stanton are all in the lineup together.

“I would say the over/under should be somewhere in the high 90s,” Gio said.

“I think the expectations for [Stanton] are so low…but he came in with a new body type, and he’s gonna try and play as many games as possible. It’s almost like anything positive you get out of him is gravy on top of this lineup.”

While Stanton’s transformed body has Boomer more optimistic about his chances to stay in the lineup, he would take Gio’s hypothetical under.

“Two of them might be able to make it more than that…assuming Judge doesn’t run into a wall or a curb in the outfield and break his foot, you would like to think he’s going to make it,” Boomer said. “Maybe, just, maybe, the new Giancarlo Stanton, the new body type and everything else, is gonna keep him healthier and get him in the outfield from time to time.

“I’m gonna say 85.”
