Boomer & Gio: More signs that Juan Soto 'absolutely loves' being a Yankee

Juan Soto’s magical ride continued on Monday night, hitting his first home run at Yankee Stadium as a Yankee before going back out to his spot in the outfield to a rousing ovation from the fans in right field.

For Boomer and Gio, it’s more evidence that Soto seems to absolutely love being a Yankee.

“There are signs that he just absolutely loves it here,” Gio said. “[Monday], you had more of those signs. He goes back to right field and the entire grouping of fans along that first base line is cheering for him and he’s signing autographs…this guy is just so happy and looks like he fits in perfectly.

“If the year continues this way, it’s gonna be hard for him to want to play somewhere else if the money is equal.”

Boomer agrees that Soto appears to love it in New York, especially if he is able to hit more home runs thanks to the short porch in right field in the Bronx.

“‘Oh my God, I can do this here and hit a pop-up for a home run?’” Boomer said. “I would think that’s something he would think about when he’s thinking about which one of these teams he would end up going to.”
