Boomer & Gio rip MLB's new jerseys after seeing Yankees road grays soaked in sweat

Boomer and Gio ripped MLB’s new uniforms when they were unveiled during spring training, and after seeing them on Opening Day, specifically the Yankees’ sweat-soaked road grays, they doubled down on their criticism.

“I’m watching the game and I’m thinking ‘Damn those uniforms, they just look so plain,’” Boomer said. “You could see the sweat. They are awful…I’ve never seen guys sweat through the uniforms like that.”

The Fanatics jerseys have been widely criticized by fans and even players, and were front and center again on Thursday as Yankee players had noticeable sweat stains all over their jerseys, to the point where it was obvious watching on television. It certainly was obvious to Boomer and Gio.

“I had forgotten about it for a while,” Gio said. “But they’re terrible.”
