BT goes off on struggling Gleyber Torres: 'On my last nerve already'

After another night with more miscues in the field, Gleyber Torres continues to look shaky at second base to begin the season, and BT has had enough of it.

BT sounded off on Torres to start the show on Wednesday, continuing his trend of calling for the Torres tenure in the Bronx to be over after this season.

“He’s on my last nerve already,” BT said. “Gleyber Torres is on pace for 18 RBI. He doesn’t have a home run yet…he looks awful.

“I can’t wait until he’s gone. I can’t remember the last time I saw a second baseman try and make a play like that…if you’re going to go for that play, you must nail him.”

BT has been calling for the Yankees to trade Torres since last season, and while he acknowledges that it won’t happen during this season, he is confident that the Yanks won’t bring him back in free agency.

“What in the world are you doing? He’s not hitting, not fielding, is completely lost, and that is why he will be an ex Yankee,” BT said. “They’re nuts if they give him an extension. There’s no way.”
