BT was worried about Aaron Judge and the Yankees given Judge’s uncertainty for Opening Day due to an abs issue, but after watching Judge healthy and back in the lineup on Wednesday night, he is all the way back in on 2024.
“They’re ready,” BT said. “They are ready, Judge is healthy, Stanton hit basically two miles of home runs last night, Rodon looks like he’s got his act together. Outside of DJ, everyone else is ready to roll.
“The Yankees are ready to cook.”
The offense looked as advertised, and Giancarlo Stanton mashed three home runs by the fourth inning. BT has been low, to say the least, on Stanton, but perhaps a physical transformation could make the oft-injured slugger a contributor again.
“I got news for you, maybe there is a little credence,” BT said. “I’m actually starting to think now that Stanton is going to be a contributor. He looks good. He changed his body.
“I saw a team that is gonna mash. I knew it was there…Yankees are ready to cook.”
