BT: What Yankee duo in history is better than Aaron Judge and Juan Soto?

Aaron Judge continued his torrid stretch over the weekend, blasting three home runs and logging three multi-hit games in a homecoming three-game set in San Francisco.

Judge, after a slow start to the season, now holds a 1.075 OPS on the year with 21 home runs, looking like a prime MVP candidate after many wondered if he was battling injury back in April.

As Judge rolls into summer once again looking like the best hitter in baseball, Sal says the Yankee star still somehow doesn’t seem to get the recognition he deserves.

“At this point, we don’t give Judge enough love,” Sal said. “We talk about everybody else and don’t give Judge enough credit.

“The guy is one of the best players ever…you can’t pitch to him!”

BT took it a step further, and says Judge may make up one half of the best hitting duo in the history of the Yankee franchise, as he and Juan Soto are doing things rarely seen by a pair of teammates, even in the history of an organization that has seen duos like Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio and Yogi Berra, and Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris.

“Aaron Judge is one of the most feared hitters in the history of baseball,” BT said. “The way they are clicking. DiMaggio and whoever. Ruth and Gehrig. Who is better than this Yankee duo ever? Mattingly and Winfield? No!”
