As Aaron Judge’s abs issue remains vague, BT grows less confident that the superstar will be in the lineup on Opening Day.
Taking it a step further, given Judge’s injury history, BT wonders if the time to preserve Judge and change his position comes much sooner than expected.
“I don’t know how you’re not worried about Aaron Judge. This is a problem,” BT said. “Aaron Judge has not played a lot at all…Judge didn’t look particularly good when he was playing. I’m wondering if this has been around a while.
“I think you’re gonna have to really accelerate his move to first base…hopefully it’s Soto, Dominguez, and Spencer Jones moving forward, and Aaron Judge at first base.”
Judge hurt his toe in right field last season, a freak injury after crashing into the fence in Los Angeles that will have lasting effects on the rest of his career. Given the injuries he has suffered throughout his career, BT wonders if it will soon be time to move Judge to first base and keep some mileage off his lower body.
“I’m not even sure I’d keep him in right field a whole lot longer,” BT said.
