C-Mac celebrates Aaron Judge's torrid stretch: 'I told you so'

After Aaron Judge went crazy with a 467-foot home run and three doubles on Wednesday night, C-Mac opened his show with a simple message to the contingent of fans who were worried that the Yankee slugger was hurt or shrinking under the shadow of Juan Soto.

“Told you so.”

“Look at this guy. Eleven home runs. A .926 OPS. He’s back,” C-Mac said. “It is no surprise. I told you so. We love Juan Soto…he’s been everything you could have asked for…but it is no surprise that the Yankees have gone about their best offensive stretch of baseball…that it comes with the big man heating up.”

Judge, in a matter of weeks, has brought his numbers back to his career norm after a dreadful start to the season, and concerns about a drastic drop-off and his monstrous contract have been silenced, which doesn’t surprise C-Mac in the slightest.

“Aaron Judge is not only the captain of this team,” C-Mac said. “He is the heartbeat of this team. He is the Jalen Brunson…as Judge goes, this team goes.”
