C-Mac: Juan Soto is all the craze, but don't forget Aaron Judge is the better player

C-Mac is having the time of his life watching Juan Soto in a Yankee uniform, but he stopped a caller at declaring that the new Yankee is better than the team’s homegrown star in Aaron Judge.

“Judge is a great player. Judge is better than Juan Soto,” C-Mac said. “Juan Soto is an on-base machine and a great player. Juan Soto has never come close to having the year Aaron Judge had in 2022. The difference is, he plays 162 games every single year.

“Aaron Judge is better than Juan Soto. But Judge hasn’t gotten it going, Soto is brand new, and watching a powerful left-handed hitter come through in every big spot over the first six games of the year, including in the heart of Texas where they never win…it’s been amazing. I love him. You gotta go out there and pay him.”

Soto craze is at a fever pitch in the Bronx, and rightfully so. But C-Mac says fans need to remember what Aaron Judge has brought to the team since his rookie season, even if he is off to a slow start in 2024.

“Before we start calling him Babe Ruth,” C-Mac said. “I’m not sure if he’s Aaron Judge yet.”
