C-Mac: Juan Soto Yankees are 'different in every way, shape, and form'
Four games and four wins for the Yankees, and C-Mac is riding high after the Bombers made a big statement against the hated Astros to begin the season.
“It doesn’t get better than going into that building against that team and taking four straight in clutch moments, and beating the Astros,” C-Mac said. “Does this make up for ’15, ’17, ’19, and ’22? No, nobody is saying that…but the Juan Soto Yankees are different in every way, shape, and form.
“Watch the team, watch these games. It’s different. It’s different in a myriad of ways.”
Soto couldn’t have penned a much more inspiring introduction, beginning his Yankee tenure with clutch outfield assists, sliding catches, big home runs, and game-winning singles, all while flashing his trademark energy and emotion that gives the Yankees a sense of swagger and edge that they seemed to be missing last season. All in all, C-Mac says Yankee fans have every right to be pumped up about their team, and every right to believe that this team is different.
“The Yankees, even when they win 99 games and the division, hang on everything Aaron Judge does,” C-Mac said. “Judge did absolutely nothing, and the Yankees went into Houston, won four games, and looked completely different doing it up and down the lineup.”
