C-Mac likens Juan Soto at-bats to must-see theater: 'It's a freaking opera'
Juan Soto finished his first season as a Yankee with an incredible nine hits in 17 at-bats with a home run, four RBI, and three stolen bases.
C-Mac enjoyed every second of it, likening the superstar’s at-bats to must-see theater.
“He’s doing the shuffle, shaking off balls, giving acknowledgement for strikes,” C-Mac said. “It’s a freaking opera. It’s a damn opera every single at-bat. We laugh, we cry, and then we get excited.
“Watching Juan Soto at-bats is so freaking cool, it’s unbelievable. Watching Juan Soto at-bats is freaking amazing. I enjoy nothing more in sports at the moment. They’re their own drama.”
The Yankees look like a different team with Soto in the fold, and while he is just one player, C-Mac says the impact is palpable.
“Juan Soto transformed the Yankees for four days,” C-Mac said. “Hopefully it continues.”
