C-Mac: More moves coming after Jazz Chisholm Jr. trade, and internal reinforcements

The Yankees made a big trade splash over the weekend, adding 2022 All-Star Jazz Chisholm from the Marlins for a trio of prospects to give the Yanks a much-needed bat for the middle of their order.

C-Mac isn’t sure how Chisholm will work out in New York, but he does know that the move means that Brian Cashman means business at the trade deadline.

“I don’t know if Brian Cashman is gonna make the right moves. I don’t know if Jazz Chisholm is gonna be the right move. I don’t know if he’s gonna be great this year,” C-Mac said. “What I do know is that Brian Cashman is not going to sit it out. He’s not asleep behind the wheel…he is going to make moves.

“[Chisholm] is extremely talented, extremely explosive type of player…this is someone with talent and athleticism, and someone who is going to help this team with his dual defensive skillset.”

Chisholm is likely just the start for the Yankees, as C-Mac believes Cashman will be very active over the next 30 hours, and suddenly, the Yanks will look much different.

“There’s going to be another move. There is going to be another reliever,” C-Mac said. “Stanton is coming back, Dominguez is playing games in Triple-A. That was the best three-game offensive performance they’ve had in forever…and this team is going to look different.”
