C-Mac says Yankees are now best team in baseball: 'Show me the weakness'

C-Mac says the vibes couldn’t be more polar opposite in New York baseball right now, as he declared the Mets season dead already, while also declaring that the Yankees are the best team in baseball through a third of the 2024 campaign.

“Judge and Soto are the only two people in baseball to have an OPS over 1.000,” C-Mac said after Aaron Judge’s torrid weekend in his hometown stadium against the Giants, while Juan Soto blasted two home runs in Sunday’s comeback win to complete the sweep.

“The Yankees right now are a machine…it’s scary how good the Yankees are.”

The Yankees still need to prove themselves against the Orioles, who took three of four from the Bombers in Baltimore earlier in the season. But that was before Judge caught fire, and since then, no team in baseball looks better, as the Yanks currently hold the best record in the league, overtaking that crown from the Phillies after Sunday’s action.

“The bullpen is as good as only any in baseball…and you still could have more guys coming,” C-Mac said. “Right now, show me the weakness of the New York Yankees.

“Right now, they’re the best team in baseball.”
