C-Mac: Yankees looking like one of the best teams in baseball again

The Yanks are suddenly rolling again, winners of five in a row after sweeping the Phillies on Wednesday afternoon, and C-Mac believes these Yankees are the real ones, not the imposters that had been scuffling for seven weeks.

“They look like a brand new team,” C-Mac said. “These are games the Yankees haven’t won in two months…here’s the fact of the matter: they have 65 wins, and nobody in Major League Baseball has more wins than the New York Yankees. Despite doing what they did for two months, they were still good enough in those first two months to be the winningest ballclub in Major League Baseball.

“They are starting to revert back to who they were in the beginning of the year. And they are one of, if not the best team in the American League. That’s who they’ve been.”

The Yankees certainly didn’t look the part for nearly two months, but given how they played for two months to start the season and how they’ve played over the past week, C-Mac believes the Bombers have reminded the baseball world that they are a legit contender.

“They are as good or better than any team in Major League Baseball,” C-Mac said.
