Yankee fans continue to boo and hurl ‘cheater’ chants at Carlos Correa, and the former Astros rival continues to shove it right back in their faces.

After being drowned with boos on Friday night, with the Yankees leading 2-0, Correa homered to right field to get the Twins on the board, then laced a go-ahead, two-run double down the right field line in the eighth inning, which proved to be the game winner in a frustrating loss for the Bombers.

Correa, as he has proven with his performance at the plate, told the New York Post that he loves hearing the boos from the Bronx crowd.

“The boos, for me, are just like putting gasoline in your Ferrari,” Correa said. “I love it.”

While the Yankee fans never hide their hatred of Correa, the feeling doesn’t seem to be mutual at all.

“Fans know the game,” Correa said. “They know every player's name, they know their families, they know their wives, they know everything about the sport. To me that's what I grew up loving about this game. I think the fans here get that and for me that's fun.”
