Now that the Dodgers have non-tendered Cody Bellinger, the team will reportedly “make a run” at Aaron Judge, according to MLB insider Jon Heyman.
The Dodgers, coming off a 111-win season but an NLDS loss to the hated Padres, have multiple contracts coming off the books this offseason, including Justin Turner, David Price, Craig Kimbrel, and now, Bellinger.
While the Dodgers could still look to bring the struggling Bellinger back on a lesser contract, they should never be counted out on a big-name free agent, as they’ve shown in years past, including as recently as last offseason when they swooped in and signed Freddie Freeman to a long-term deal.
