Just as the Jets did prior to their 1 pm kickoff at MetLife Stadium, the Yankees brought in a member of New York’s first responders to sing the National Anthem prior to their game on Sept. 11.
And, while it was delayed a couple hours due to weather, Firefighter Regina Wilson of the FDNY Ceremonial Unit delivered a chilling rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” for the crowd at Yankee Stadium:

The Yankees' series finale with the Rays was officially delayed nearly 2 ½ hours due to rainy conditions in the NYC area Sunday, but Mother Nature couldn’t put a damper on a beautiful rendition of our national anthem on the 21st anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.
