Giants reportedly 'elated' with how meeting with Aaron Judge went

The Giants welcomed Aaron Judge on a hometown visit this week, and according to Jon Heyman, the franchise was “elated” with how the meeting went.

The report comes after MLB Network’s Jon Morosi reported of a “productive” meeting between the two sides, which included time with ownership, recruiting pitches from some of Judge’s childhood heroes, and even some help from Warriors superstar Steph Curry.

Morosi also added that a Judge decision could come as early as before the Winter Meetings in December. Per Heyman’s report, the Giants would feel good about their chances that Judge picks them as his new home, though the Yankees have implied that they won’t be outbid for their franchise superstar.
