Gio: History says Yankees to World Series is 'a lock' thanks to 10-2 start

The Yankees are 10-2 on the season, and every other time they have gotten out to that start, they won a pennant, most recently in 2003.

Gio says it’s time to book those World Series tickets now.

“I’m telling you Yankee fans, buckle up. This is going to be an incredible year,” Gio said. “We already know, if history repeats itself, the Yankees will be back in the World Series.

“In the long, illustrious history of the New York Yankees, they have gone to the World Series when they started 10-2.”

With history on their side, Gio says 2024 is the year the Bombers finally end their drought without a World Series appearance.

“The Juan Soto-led, Aaron Judge-led New York Yankees are going to the World Series,” Gio said. “It’s a lock. It’s happened every single time.”
