Aroldis Chapman horrified baseball fans across social media with a video on his Instagram post (which contains graphic material) that shows the former Yankee groping the breasts of an older woman that some believe to be his mother.
After watching the video Wednesday morning, Gio tried to find the words to explain how he felt.
“We’ve witnessed what could possibly be the strangest video I have ever witnessed involving a professional athlete. I mean it,” Gio said. “I had a feeling in my gut that I have not been able to get out. I’m ill. I am sick.
“It’s just so strange, and there’s no explanation for it. What can it be?”
Gio tried, and failed, to come up with an explanation, and could only reiterate just how unsettling it was to watch.
“It’s the most bizarre, sick thing I think I’ve ever seen when it comes to a professional athlete,” Gio said.
