The Martian has landed, and Houston, you have a problem, because he just pulled a Judge that even Jose Altuve couldn’t rob.

Jasson Dominguez made his MLB debut Friday night, and in his first major-league at-bat, on his first SWING, no less, he went oppo taco on the reigning AL Cy Young, taking Justin Verlander deep to left field at Minute Maid Park:

Dominguez hit 15 homers at Double-A Somerset-A this year, and in going 1-for-1 in The Show, he became the sixth Yankee ever to homer in his first MLB at-bat and the first since Aaron Judge and Tyler Austin went back-to-back on Aug. 13, 2016.

Unfortunately, he and Austin Wells, also making his MLB debut Friday, didn’t go back-to-back like Judge and Austin, but Wells did single to right in his first MLB AB.

Perhaps, the kids ARE alright.
