Keith: Aaron Judge is 'best thing to watch in baseball right now'

Aaron Judge is somehow on pace to break his American League home run record, now pacing to finish with 63 after blasting two more home runs on Sunday.

Judge’s slugging percentage on the season is higher than several teams’ on-base PLUS slugging numbers in 2024, and like nearly everyone else, Keith is running out of ways to praise the Yankee slugger.

“This guy is like something we’ve never seen,” Keith said. “Nobody is saying anything about his toe anymore or thinking that he might be injured.

“He’s the best thing in baseball right now. He’s the best thing to watch in baseball right now.”

Keith joked with MLB.com’s Bryan Hoch, who authored the book “62” that chronicled Judge’s 2022 season, that he may have to pen a sequel after 2024, titled “63,” “64,” or maybe even more.

“Dare I say 70? There’s still some 30 games left,” Keith said. “There’s still a month of the season left. The Judge numbers are starting to get really crazy. They’re starting to be dumb at this point, to where they just don’t make sense. They’re video game numbers.

“They can’t waste a season where Judge is doing this again.”
