Keith 'concerned' about Aaron Judge: 'He looks cooked up there'

Aaron Judge squared up a couple balls in game three, but ultimately, it was another hitless night, going 0-for-4 with a walk and a strikeout in the Yankees’ 3-2 win over the Royals.

The Bombers are now on the brink of advancing to the ALCS, but Keith says they won’t go much further until the captain and MVP finds his October footing.

“This is Aaron Judge we’re talking about,” Keith said. “This is a guy who, during this season, I said is the greatest baseball player I’ve ever seen. I’d hate to retract that statement. I’m not retracting it, but he looks cooked up there. I’m concerned.

“The Yankees are not going to where they want to go without that guy.”

Judge’s postseason struggles have been one of the main topics of conversation around the Yanks since the playoffs started, and so far, Judge hasn’t done anything to quiet those concerns. Keith says Judge has to change the narrative now, or it will be another disappointing finish in the Bronx.

“If Aaron Judge - the MVP of this team - doesn’t find it and have better at-bats…maybe he comes through tomorrow, but he’s let us down,” Keith said.

“It’s time, Judge. We don’t have any more time.”
