Keith all in on Juan Soto: 'He's a Yankee for life, and you know it'
Juan Soto picked up another hit on Tuesday night, and holds a .417 batting average through his first six games as a Yankee.
It’s been as good of a start as anyone could have dreamed up, and Keith says Soto looks like a star that is bound to make the Bronx home for good.
“Blank check that boy. Whatever he wants,” Keith said. “He’s a Yankee for the rest of his life, and you know it. All the conversation of him going elsewhere has quieted down, because he looks the part. He’s looked like the New York Yankees.
“These guys are watching Juan Soto and how he works every day, and they’re better for it. That’s why he’s worth whatever him and Scott Boras put on that blank check. There’s no way an Oswaldo Cabrera or an Anthony Volpe watch him and not learn from him. There’s no way you don’t go out there and compete. This is a guy who shuffles on every ball.”
