Keith vows to never again question Aaron Judge, 'best hitter I've ever watched'

Aaron Judge blasted his 25th home run of the season on Tuesday night, and Keith is now vowing to never question the Yankees superstar again.

“I’m silent on any slumps that he ever has again,” Keith said. “You will never hear me talk down on that guy. You will never hear me question that guy.

“There is no ‘maybe.’ This guy is the best hitter I’ve ever watched. Just flat out. Maybe go ahead and say Barry Bonds, but we’re not talking steroid era.”

As Judge was laboring through a rough April, Keith wondered if he was dealing with an injury related to the MRI he had on his abs in spring training. Judge responded with a torrid May and hasn’t slowed down since, catapulting himself to the top of the league in WAR, home runs, and several other key offensive categories.

It’s enough to remind Keith that he will never doubt Judge for the rest of his career.

“Why do they still pitch to him? This is the best hitter we’ve seen, period,” Keith said. “Everybody was questioning his health, his contract, his age, his mechanics. I’ve never seen a guy silence all critics like this…but he did it when he didn’t sign that contract.”
