Keith: 'Miss me' with season is early talk, Yankees look like they 'have enough' for special season

Keith doesn’t want to hear anything about the season being young and that the Yankees pendulum will eventually swing in the other direction.

In the here and now, the Yankee vibes have completely changed from last year, and regardless of how many games it has been, the difference is palpable.

“Please, miss me with that,” Keith said. “Everybody knows the Yankees are back. You can say it’s a small sample size, or it’s early, but we can counter with a bunch of things. Gerrit Cole is not here. Even Aaron Judge is not here.

“The difference a couple weeks make. The difference actual games make.”

Keith was concerned that the Yanks may not have enough to satisfy their all-in declarations heading into the season, but after watching games that count, he believes the Bombers have what they need to get back to prominence.

“I think they have enough,” Keith said. “And I think as this season goes on, and we see the emergence of a second-year player like Anthony Volpe, or dogs on the team like Alex Verdugo, you’re gonna see they have enough.”
