WFAN's own Suzyn Waldman once again graced Yankee Stadium with her rendition of the National Anthem prior to the Yankees' matchup with the Orioles on Tuesday evening.
Waldman took the microphone for the second time in as many seasons, having last did so in July of 2020 at the Yankees home opener of the delayed season, fulfilling a promise she made to Gerrit Cole before he became a Yankee.
Cole was the starter on Tuesday night.
Waldman's rendition from last year was used prior to the Yankees' first "home" playoff game in the ALDS last year, and recordings of it were sold on multiple platforms with the proceeds going to City Meals on Wheels to aid in COVID-19 relief.
Waldman, the first voice ever heard on WFAN, also sang the National Anthem prior to game seven of the 1986 ALCS.
