New York Yankees outfielder Mike Tauchman left Sunday’s game in the third inning, after fouling a ball off his right leg in his only at-bat of the game.

Tauchman struck out swinging in the second inning in an eight pitch at-bat, but one of those pitches saw him foul a ball directly off his right leg. He remained in the game to play defense in the bottom of the second – Corey Kluber got two strikeouts and a fly out to center – and he was gingerly moving around in the outfield before limping back to the dugout.

When the Yankees took the field in the third, Ryan LaMarre replaced Tauchman in left field.

After the game, though, manager Aaron Boone said no tests were scheduled as of yet, and that Tauchman was icing the leg and the team would see how he feels in the morning.

“He fouled one off his right calf or shin, so we just wanted to get him out of there, get some ice on it so it didn’t swell up too much,” Boone said after the game. “He’ll get some treatment, no X-Rays as of now, and we’ll see how he is in the morning.”

Clint Frazier also appeared to be banged up during Sunday’s game, but that was due to a wardrobe malfunction, not injury.

“He’s fine, the sliding tights he wears under his uniform ripped on that slide,” Boone said.

Frazier appeared to grimace at third base after stealing second and advancing to third in the fifth inning, and was stretching out a bit more than usual in right field the following defensive inning. He stayed in the game until the eighth, when he was replaced by Estevan Florial.
