Tiki & Tierney crew make official predictions for Aaron Judge contract

The Aaron Judge sweepstakes can be heating up quickly, with some reporting that the slugger could sign a contract during the Winter Meetings next week.

So, it’s time for the Tiki and Tierney crew to make their predictions for where Judge signs, and for how much, after ESPN’s Jeff Passan reported on Wednesday that the Yankees have an offer on the table “in the neighborhood” of eight years and $300 million.

BT initiated the round of predictions, and had no faith that the crew’s predictions would be recorded. But not to worry, here are the specifics for each member’s prediction, with the majority believing Judge will stay in the Bronx, with one exception:

Tiki: Nine years, $350 million with Yankees. His reasoning? “I cannot make my guy go to San Francisco. I’d rather be Freezing Cold Take’d.”

Pete Hoffman: 10 years, $390 million with Giants. BT’s reaction? “At that point, take him.”

Dov: 10 years, $380 million with Yankees. BT says the Yanks would never sign him for that much.

BT: Nine years, $365 million with Yankees, and could see a 10th year option.

Who will be right? We could find out sooner than later.
