WATCH: Aaron Judge crushes two solo HR versus Blue Jays

The Yankees scored 42 first-inning runs in 2020 – just barely a quarter-run per game average, but good for tied for third in baseball. However, entering play Wednesday, they were the only team in MLB without a first-inning run in 2021.

And less than five minutes into Wednesday’s game with Toronto, that drought ended.

Barely a half-dozen pitches into the game, Aaron Judge finally got the Yankees on the board, blasting an 88 MPH cutter from T.J. Zeuch over the left field wall in Dunedin. The ball traveled 368 feet and came off the bat at 101.5 MPH according to Statcast, but more importantly, it gave the Yankees a very early 1-0 lead and their first first-inning run of 2021.

Judge wasn't done, though, as in his second at-bat, he made us All Rise again, blasting a 402-foot solo shot to dead center that left the bat at 111.9 MPH!

Watch both of Judge’s homers below, and listen to John Sterling's call of the first one above!
