WATCH: Yankees' Oswald Peraza records first MLB RBI

Welcome to the RBI column, Oswald Peraza!

On a day where Yankees No. 1 prospect Anthony Volpe is playing shortstop in the final game of the season at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, No. 3 prospect Oswald Peraza started at SS in the first game after the Yankees clinched the AL East – and he got them off and running early with his first MLB RBI!

Peraza had Oswaldo Cabrera (who was walked) on third and Josh Donaldson (who singled) on first, and he rapped the first pitch he saw, an 86 MPH slider middle-down, through the left side hole for an RBI single.

The shortstop and cleanup hitter on Wednesday, Peraza entered the game slashing .296/.406/.407 with three doubles, three walks, and four runs scored in 12 games.
