C-Mac will be the first to admit that the 2024 Yankees have question marks, but so does nearly every other team in Major League Baseball, so fans should be excited to watch the Bombers take the field next week.
“Yankee fans should be freaking excited about this team,” C-Mac said. “This is one of the best lineups they’ve had in a long time. One of the most balanced lineups they’ve had in a long time. We know what they consistently do with the bullpen. But we are so hung up on the negatives of this team, like no other team has negatives…who was the third or fourth starter for the World Series team last year? Jon Gray? Andrew Heaney?
“We’re so absorbed in our own world…nobody cares about the flaws in other teams…the teams in the American League that have better rotations than the Yankees are who? The Blue Jays? Bunch of frauds they are. The Mariners? Is their lineup scary? They didn’t make the playoffs last year. The Twins? Don’t make me laugh.”
So, while questions linger about the depth of the rotation or the health of Aaron Judge and DJ LeMahieu, C-Mac says this Yankees team is good enough to win it all.
“This Yankee team is good enough,” C-Mac said. “There’s much more depth.”
