Aaron Judge had a nice moment with his mother, Patty Judge, after hitting his 61st home run on Wednesday night.
After the game, Judge appeared from the Yankee clubhouse and into the halls of the Rogers Centre, where he handed his mother the ball from his record-tying home run, then gave her a big hug.
Patty has been following Judge and his pursuit of American League history since the start of the Yankees’ last homestand, where Judge hit No. 60 in the first game before falling into a seven-game homer drought, which finally came to an end in Toronto.
The home run sailed into the Blue Jays bullpen, making it much easier for Judge to retrieve the ball, and ultimately hand it to his mother.
