UPDATE: Aaron Boone did not have an update on Judge's condition after the game, but he was announced to have left the game with right hip discomfort. Boone said he saw Judge look to have some discomfort on a swing and decided to take him out.
Just one day after Aaron Judge said everything was good with his right hand, the Yankees superstar left Thursday night’s game in the fourth inning.
Judge, who took an awkward slide into third base during Wednesday’s series finale against the Twins, was seen flexing his hand and wrist shortly after, but stayed in the game and later singled. But after two strikeouts on Thursday night, he was replaced by Oswaldo Cabrera in right field.
The Yankee offense finally broke out on Wednesday thanks in large part to Judge, but his absence would obviously be a massive void in a lineup that is already missing Giancarlo Stanton.
