Aaron Judge was at it again on Wednesday night, blasting his 18th home run of the season in another Yankee win.
There aren’t many superlatives left for the Yankee superstar, but BT is ready to say that Judge is rivaled by only one other baseball star in his lifetime that were must-see TV.
“With Judge doing what he does, and his nightly prowess on a baseball diamond, him and Dwight Gooden, young, vintage Dwight Gooden, those are the two greatest, must-watch baseball spectacles of my lifetime,” BT said.
“That’s not to diminish [Mariano] Rivera or [Derek] Jeter or all the other great luminaries…it just transcends the sport.”
But, for BT, Judge is likely above the young and prolific Gooden at this point.
“Dwight transcended the city,” BT said. “And I feel like Aaron Judge pretty much transcends the world from a baseball point of view.”
