Asked about the Blue Jays TV announcers suggesting that he could have been cheating on Monday night, Aaron Judge made it clear to reporters that he wasn’t happy with the insinuation.

“I got some choice words about that,” Judge said, via Greg Joyce of the New York Post. “But better to just keep that off the record.”

Announcers Dan Shulman and Buck Martinez pointed out during Monday night’s broadcast that Judge seemed to be peeking out of the corner of his eye towards first base or the Yankee dugout, to which Shulman said, “You don’t want to go throwing allegations around without knowing, but…”

The clip of the announcers wondering the reasoning for it was viewed millions of times on social media by Tuesday morning, sparking all kinds of speculation, and even allegation, from fans online. It was a suggestion Judge clearly disagreed with and took exception to, but he says he is shrugging it off.

“I’m not happy about it, but people can say what they want,” Judge said. “I’ve still got a game to play. I’ve got things to do.”
