The Yankees are facing elimination on Sunday, and they are once again shuffling the deck to try and wake up their dormant bats.
Harrison Bader is back in the leadoff spot, Isiah Kiner-Falefa is back at shortstop and batting eighth, and Matt Carpenter is out of the lineup for game four of the ALCS. Carpenter, who has struggled badly since returning from his two-month stay on the IL, was deemed to not be a favorable matchup against the breaking-ball heavy Lance McCullers Jr.
Giancarlo Stanton is back at DH with rookie Oswaldo Cabrera in left field.
