The Yankees looked to be cruising to a crucial series victory over the Rays on Sunday, leading 6-0 with their dominant ace Gerrit Cole looking like his usual self.

Until suddenly, Cole didn't look like his ace self, allowing a game-tying three-run blast in the sixth before Jimmy Cordero allowed the go-ahead run to score from second on a grounder back to the mound.

With one out and Jose Siri on second, Siri took off for third as Cordero came to the plate, inducing a tapper back to the mound. Cordero didn't give Siri as much as a look after fielding the chopper, and the Yankees didn't seem to give much of an alert that Siri was rounding third and taking off for home. So, Cordero took the out at first, and Siri scored easily, putting Tampa ahead 7-6.
