Yankees' Miguel Andujar assaulted, robbed at gunpoint in Dominican Republic: Reports

According to multiple reports, Yankees utility man Miguel Andujar was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint at his farm in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday.

Andujar, 27, had a $7,000 watch stolen in the robbery, where multiple shots were fired, according to ESPN Deportes. Andujar is reportedly safe and was not shot, though he was reportedly beaten.

Andujar’s father’s vehicle was reportedly also stolen, but later found. According to Newsday, Andujar is doing OK and is expected to arrive at spring training on Saturday.
