Yankees re-sign OF Tim Locastro to one-year deal

The Yankees have added another outfielder, signing Tim Locastro to a one-year major-league contract on Sunday.

Terms of the deal were not released, and the Yankees did not have to make a reciprocal move as they had an open spot on the 40-man roster.

The 29-year-old was 4-for-21 with a home run as a Yankee and hit .180 in 64 games overall with Arizona and the Yankees last year. The speedster is a career .231 hitter in 209 MLB games with the Dodgers, Diamondbacks, and Yankees, and has experience at all three outfield positions.
