Locastro was immediately in Sunday’s lineup, playing left field and hitting ninth as both Joey Gallo and Anthony Rizzo sat against Baltimore lefty Bruce Zimmerman.

Sears made two relief appearances for the Yankees, both with a milestone; he made his MLB debut with a scoreless inning against Toronto on Wednesday night, then tossed another scoreless inning in Saturday’s win over Baltimore to earn his first major-league win.

The lefty, who was acquired from Seattle in November 2017 as part of the Nick Rumbelow deal, split last season between Double-A and Triple-A and was added to the 40-man roster this winter before making the Opening Day MLB roster.

Locastro, who played nine games as a Yankee last year before tearing his ACL, was 5-for-16 (.313) in five games with SWB so far this season.
He was 4-for-21 as a Yankee last season and is a career .231 hitter in 627 MLB games over five seasons with the Dodgers, Diamondbacks, and Yankees.
