RADIO.COM Sports NFL Week 9 expert picks
Two years ago, if the Miami Dolphins played against the Arizona Cardinals, it would have been one of the least interesting games on the NFL's weekly slate. However, both teams made what appear to be successful coaching changes after the 2018 season, and have used a top-five pick on a quarterback in the last two years, setting up one of the most intriguing games in Week 9 of the 2020 NFL season.
Since losing to the Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers in consecutive weeks, Kyler Murray and the Cardinals have won three straight games to improve to 5-2. Kliff Kingsbury's team is returning from their bye week, but secured a major victory in Week 7, defeating the division-rival Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football.
Meanwhile, Brian Flores' Dolphins have won four of their last five games, with the one loss over that period coming in a one-possession game to the Seahawks. The team turned to No. 5 overall pick Tua Tagovailoa last week, but he wasn't asked to do much in a 28-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Don't expect a repeat of that, as the 4-3 Dolphins attempt to keep pace with the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East.
The matchup between Murray and Tagovailoa figures to be one of the most interesting tilts on a slate of 14 games this week.
