The NBA Front Office Insider for ESPN joined Kyle Bailey today on the Clubhouse as he discussed the start of the playoffs inside the bubble, and the Hornets getting the 3rd pick in an unpredictable draft.
Bobby first gave his thoughts on the start of the NBA playoffs inside the bubble and despite the sweeps going on in the East every game has been competitive and had high level play on both sides of the court, and the NBA has to be pleased with what is going on right now.
Kyle then asked Bobby what he thinks about the top 3 draft prospects in this year's draft and Bobby responded:
"I think with the 3 guys projected at the top there is such a limited body of work due to what happened this year and especially with what transpired with James (Wiseman) and with LaMelo (Ball), and with Anthony (Edwards) he had an inconstant year here. All 3 of the top picks are even here according to the way we look at it."
Kyle also asked Bobby if it truly is harder to draft up top compared to the middle and Bobby told Kyle that people are more contempt to be in the 3-4 range this year compared to the 1-2 range. Bobby also points out there is no exact science to do this draft in October with the lack of resources given due to the current circumstances.
