Montreal, QC (WGR 550) - The NHL advised all teams not to hold morning skates or morning meetings at the arena on Thursday, and the Sabres are complying with that.
All 31 teams will be part of a conference call with the league at 1:00. Teams will be advised after that is over on what is to become of the season due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Down in Rochester, the Amerks announced they canceled Thursday's practice.
In a side note, Rob Ray confirmed to me that the Alumni Wine Festival at the arena sceduled for Thursday has been posponed.
