The Buffalo Bandits beat the Colorado Mammoth 15-12 on Saturday night at the KeyBank Center for their second-straight win.

Buffalo never trailed in the game, but there were times where it looked like they would lose the lead. The Bandits stormed out to 4-0 first quarter advantage, but the Mammoth tied things up halfway through the second quarter. Buffalo managed to wake up, and put in three goals before halftime to stay up 7-4. Colorado then scored four of the first five goals of the second half to tie the game for a second time 8-8. However, Buffalo responded again with a five goals in the final five minutes of the third quarter to take command of the game for good.

Chase Fraser, Shawn Evans and Dhane Smith all tallied hat-tricks for the Bandits. Smith led the team with eight total points. Corey Small had four assists in the win. Matt Vinc had another strong outing in net with 45 saves on 57 shots faced.

The Bandits now have back-to-back wins after last Saturday's stinker of a performance against Rochester. They are 6-2 on the season, and are a half game behind both Toronto (6-1) and Georgia (7-2) for first place in the NLL East. Buffalo travels to Georgia next Saturday for their first meeting of the season against the Swarm.
