Before any NFL team allows more than 20 players back at team facilities for work, each team must have an Infectious Disease Emergency Response plan in place and approved by both the league and NFL Players' Association. A league source has confirmed to WGR that the Bills are one of eight teams that have been aproved by both, as of Wednesday morning.
All 32 teams' plans have already received approval by the league's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Allen Sills, while 24 teams' plans are still under review by the NFLPA.
Bills rookies reported for their first day of COVID-19 testing on Tuesday. Under the league and NFLPA's agreement, they will all have to wait until Friday before being tested again. If both tests are negative, a player will be allowed into the facility for work, including taking a physical.
